Top 5 most Romantic things to do in Paris

Paris, the city of love, the city of romance. Who doesn’t want to spend a few days in France’s capital with their so called better half and do all the romantic things one can think of? Are you planning a trip to Paris, than continue reading, as I am going to give you 5 tips to have a romantic weekend.

Here are the Top 5 most Romantic things to do in Paris

Tip 1: Book a nice room in a fancy hotel

Before you can really enjoy Paris, you have to prepare a few things. First off, you need to get there. When traveling in Europe I would recommend taking the train. It’s convenient and relaxing. Also, the train will drop you off right in the center of Paris. Perfect I’d say!
Even though you’re probably not going to spend a lot of time in your hotel (at least that’s not what we did when we were there in 2012).

Although you’re probably not going to spend a lot of time in your hotel room, it’s nice to have a proper room. I mean, you don’t want to be in a hostel dorm room when you’re planning a romantic getaway to Paris, right? So get that hotel room with a nice soft bed and more quiet area.

Tip 2: Have a romantic dinner

France it’s known for its food, the cheese, the bread and good wine. When planning a trip to Paris you can’t skip the romantic dinner. Imagine; a nice set table, candle light, good music playing in the back and great service. Preferably, find yourself a place that’s a bit off the beaten path and away from the tourists.
A dinner like this doesn’t need to cost a fortune, some of the restaurants have good deals which will give you a discount or offer a free course.

Tip 3: Take a boat ride on the Seine

Don’t make the mistake to go during the day on those boats full with tourists, but book a tour with a small sailing company. These boats usually fit a small amount of people. And of course you’ll do this at night, so everything looks even prettier. Make sure to pass the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and Notre Dame.

Tip 4: Have a picnic under the Eiffel Tower

If you’re not in the position to spend a lot of money, a picnic under the Eiffel Tower is a more budget friendly option of having a great time. Just hop in a supermarket first, get some cheeses, a bottle of rose wine, a few olives and head to the Eiffel Tower. Find a spot in the grass, sit down on a blanket and enjoy each other’s company, the Eiffel Tower and of course the food!

Tip 5: Buy Lingerie

Maybe not the most romantic, but at least fun. That is, if you’re in for something a bit more adventurous. Head over to the Moulin Rouge area and go in to one of the shops nearby where you can buy lingerie. In the end, you’re planning on having a romantic evening, so pick out some lingerie together and the rest is up to you!
